Il Ragazzo dai Pantaloni Rosa s is a dramatic and moving story about the life of Andrea Spezzacatena, a 15-year-old bullied boy who took his own life on November 20, 2012. His story became the first known case in Italy of suicide by a minor caused by bullying.

The film will be released in theatres soon and will be distributed by Eagle Pictures and Weekend Films.

Directed by Margherita Ferri and scripted by Roberto Proia and performed by Claudia Pandolfi (Drought, The Bad Guy), Samuele Carrino (The Damned, Stonebreaker), Andrea Arru (Diaries, We Were Kids), Sara Ciocca (Blanca, The Goddess Fortuna), and Corrado Fortuna (Baaria, Anna).

The story tells how a simple mistake in washing jeans, which turned them pink, triggered a series of bullying acts against Andrea, culminating in the creation of an offensive Facebook page that further increased the harassment.

Andrea's mother, Teresa Manes (played by Claudia Pandolfi), discovered the existence of the page only after her son's tragic death.
